The Salt Company

At The Commons Church, we will always place a priority on reaching college students. Why? Because we believe that if we can win the campus, we can win the world. The Salt Company is the name of our college ministry and more specifically, it is the name of our Thursday night, worship gathering.

Equipping Courses
We want to be a sending church. This means we want to work hard to intentionally raise up and send out people from our church locally back into the community, regionally to plant churches and globally as missionaries. Equipping Courses are intentional, 2-8 week courses that are aimed at building up and equipping “the saints for the work of ministry.” Some of our staple courses include Gospel 101, How to Study the Bible, and How to Deepen Your Walk with God.
The Commons Kids

This isn’t childcare! The Commons Kids’ age specific classrooms (infant through 5th grade) and curriculum are designed to help kids take their next step with Jesus in a safe, clean and fun environment.

Neighboring

Neighboring isn’t a program, it’s a lifestyle. This is, and always will be, our primary outreach strategy. We believe that if Jesus has saved you, then He has sent you. We also believe that God has put us where we are with intentionality so we want to live where we are with intentionality. Reaching our community isn’t the job of a few pastors, it’s the responsibility of the whole church.  Our neighbors are the people we live next to, sit next to (at work or in class), and the people we daily cross paths with.
